Naturopathic Doctor TeleMedicine

Telemedicine with a Naturopath

Now you can visit with a naturopathic doctor from the comfort of your home!

What is TeleHealth?

Telehealth is the utilization of modern technology that is HIPPA compliant to consult with a patient by video conferencing. Upon requesting a virtual appointment you will be emailed an intake form to complete before your visit.

In addition to receiving high quality and personal attention from a physician, you do not have to be in the same location as the doctor. You can be anywhere in the world and receive personlized medicine from the comfort of your home.

Ordering Labs

The doctor orders the needed bloodwork online so there are no forms you need to bring in. If you choose to use your insurance, you will show your card to the lab upon arrival. Cash options are available for those with high deductibles and copays through Sonora Quest and Lab Express, just let the doctor know. Naturopaths often work with specialty labs to further investigate the cause of symptoms. Kits for these labs are dropped shipped to the patient’s home. The kits have everything you need to send the specimen straight to the lab.  The results come straight to your doctor and you will then be contacted to schedule a follow up visit to review the labs and come up with a treatment plan…all from the comfort of your home!

Supplement and Prescription Ordering.

Naturopathic physicians use supplements to assist in the body’s natural healing processes. During your follow up visit, the doctor may recommend a few formulas which will be ordered and drop shipped to your home. Prescriptions are called into conventional and compounding pharmacies. Compounding pharmacies offer mail and delivery service for your injectables.

What Health Care Services can I receive through Telehealth?

You can receive most services normally offered with an in person visit. However, in the case of controlled substances such as MMJ or testosterone therapy, these visits must be in person. Check with the staff to make sure your health care needs can be met with telemedicine.

In the case of medical emergency however you need to seek care at your local urgen care facility or emergency room. You will have the opportunity to sign a release form so that your naturopath can receive the results of any testing that was done.

Now more than ever, it’s important to get educated about how to stay well and have a high quality of life. Naturopathic medicine offers tools outside of the conventional model that will put you ahead of those who solely rely on their insurance companies.
